The Fizz took five wickets in three matches against the West Indies recently, and jumped five places to fifth, behind the fourth-placed Kagiso Rabada of South Africa. Mustafizur now has 695 rating points, as opposed to Rabada’s 702.

Off-spinner Mehedi Hasan Miraz also achieved career best ranking, rising 19 places to 28th after taking six wickets against the Windies. ODI captain Mashrafe bin Mortaza, who bagged as many wickets as Miraz against the Windies, jumped 10 places to 23rd, while all-rounder Shakib al Hasan is 26th.
As far as the batsmen’s ranking is concerned, wicketkeeper-batter Mushfiqur Rahim is 15th with 712 rating points, opener Soumya Sarkar is 42nd after jumping 10 places while the right-handed Liton Das rose four places to 98th.
