Tushar Imran was once again among runs as he scored 78 on the second day of the fourth round of the Bangladesh Cricket League to help his team Prime Bank South Zone take a 48-run lead at 309/5 against Walton Central Zone, who scored 261 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Cricket Stadium in Chittagong Wednesday.
In the other match, BCB North Zone produced a strong reply at 178/2 in reply to the big 466-run first innings score by Islami Bank East Zone at Shaheed Kamruzzaman Cricket Stadium in Rajshahi.
North Zone trail by 288 runs with eight wickets still intact.
Central Zone v South Zone
Central Zone started the day at 234/8 and eventually lost their last two wickets after 27 more runs to the tally.
Pacer Al-Amin Hossain and spinner Mahedi Hasan were among the wickets with 3/67 and 3/50 respectively.

In reply, South Zone lost Shahriar Nafees early after he scored four with the team total at six.
From there, Anamul Haque and Fazle Mahmud scored fifties to form a 146-run partnership before Fazle departed for 74 with the score at 152.
Anamul would depart next, scoring 77, and with the score at 171, another quick wicket fell as Al-Amin scored only 14 with only seven more runs added to the team total.
