Mosaddek Hossain’s century was the highlight for Central Zone in the third day of the second round match in Bangladesh Cricket League as they are nine wickets away from victory against North Zone after Shaheed Chandu stadium, Bogra, on Friday.
Starting the day at 50/3, Central Zone soon lost two more wickets – Taibur Rahman for six and overnight opener Najmul Hossain Shanto for 42 – to be pegged back at 94/5. From there, two substantial partnerships- one between Shuvagata Hom (45) and Mosaddek Hossain before the other between Mosaddek and Mosharraf Hossain (54) took the score close to 300.

Ebadat was once again among the wickets after six in the first innings, and took 4/88 to finish with match figures of 10/139. Mohor Sheikh was the highest wicket-taker in the day with 5/69.
