Wicketkeeper-batsman Nurul Hasan has been named captain as the BCB announced a 15-member Bangladesh U-23 squad for the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2018.

The Bangladesh side will feature national cricketers Mosaddek Hossain, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Shafiul Islam, Nayeem Hasan and Khaled Ahmed.
The Test-playing nations participating in the tournament are allowed to field maximum two national cricketers.
Banned from international cricket due to disciplinary issues, Sabbir Rahman was in consideration for the squad.
The right-handed batsman was however, ruled out from selection as it was cited that the tournament is of international standard.
The Bangladesh U-23 team will play all their games in Karachi, Pakistan where they will face the UAE national side in the opening day of the tournament.
In their second game, the young Tigers will lock horns with Hong Kong national team next Friday.
In their third and the final Group B match, Bangladesh U-23 will face host Pakistan U-23.
Group A features India U-23, Sri Lanka U-23, Afghanistan U-23 and the Oman national team.
All the Group A matches will be played in Sri Lanka, including the semi-finals and final.
The semis will be played on December 13 and the final will be played on December 15.
