West Indies wicketkeeper-batsman Shane Dorwich believes a target of anything below 200 would be chaseable for them to win the first Test match.
Bangladesh finished the day on 55 runs for the loss of five wickets and are leading by 133 after day two.
West Indies will be looking to wrap up the innings quickly on day three as the pitch is becoming increasingly bowler-friendly.
“I think the match is pretty even right now. Bangladesh already have a lead and a lead on the board is always a challenge. But I think once we go hard in the morning and get those wickets as early as possible and bat well in the second innings, we could also come out winning,” said Dorwich during the post-day press conference at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium Friday.
Windies' Shannon Gabriel has been suspended for the second Test in Mirpur after his demerit points reached five within a 24-month period following his latest breach of the ICC's Code of Conduct for which he received a 30% fine and two demerit points.https://t.co/ceIRR5EU1D#BCB

“On this pitch it is hard to say how much score is chaseable in fourth innings. I’d say anything under 200 is possible. Anything over 200 might be difficult,” he added.
Doerich and Shimron Hetmyer formed a vital 92-run partnership for the sixth wicket.
The West Indies were struggling at that stage but Hetmyer’s attacking approach and Dorwich’s cautious batting gave the edge to the Windies, and they eventually scored 246.
Dorwich informed how the partnership was built.
Off-spinner Nayeem Hasan created a world record against the West Indies during their first Test match as the 17-year old Bangladeshi became the youngest cricketer in the history of Tests to take five wickets on debut.https://t.co/LMqFvG7rYH#BCBTIGERS #BCB #TIGERS #NAYEEMHASAN

“I think we complemented each other out there in that partnership. Obviously Hetmyer is a very aggressive player. I told him to be selective and play his shots. That allowed me to just rotate the strike and get him on. Once I got in, it was easier for me to score. I think everyone has their style of playing on different wickets and it worked for us [Friday],” he concluded.
