Bangladesh opener Liton Das escaped an injury which could have been severe. With Zimbabwe batting in the second innings, Sikandar Raza swept the first ball of the 43 rd over off Nazmul Islam Apu towards the fine leg.
Liton sprinted after the ball and twisted his ankle while stopping the ball near the boundary. Zimbabwe got three runs from it but this had made the Bangladesh physio rush to Liton who was on the ground.
The right-handed Bangladesh batsman was taken off the field immediately. All concerns of a possible injury was however brushed away once Liton returned to the field after the 50th over of the innings.
