Zimbabwe are set to travel to Sylhet Thursday for the first Test against host Bangladesh
Touring Zimbabwe side got some action in the three-day warm-up game after most of it got wasted due to rain and wet outfield in Chittagong’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in the first two days.
On the third and final day of the game, Zimbabwe batted before declaring on 145 for the loss of five wickets and then bowled 18 overs to find BCB XI on 56 losing two wickets in 18 overs.
Zimbabwe’s top-order failed miserably as the first four batsmen could add only 45 runs to the board with Hamilton Masakadza adding 39 to the tally.
All-rounder Sikandar Raza remained unbeaten on 32 with BCB XI pacer Ebadat Hossain finishing with two wickets in six overs conceding just 13 runs.

Later, BCB XI opener Nazmul Hossain Shanto remained not out on 22.
Zimbabwe are set to travel to Sylhet Thursday for the first Test against host Bangladesh.
The first of the two-match Test series will begin at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium Saturday.
Both Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will then travel to Dhaka for the second and final Test that is scheduled to take place at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium from November 11-15.
