Imrul scored 144, 90 and 115 in the three ODIs and was adjudged man of the series. In the process, he became the highest Bangladeshi scorer in a three-ODI series, with 349 runs, surpassing opener Tamim Iqbal’s 312 against Pakistan.
In-form opening batsman Imrul Kayes is delighted to score big for the Tigers and vowed to continue his good form in the upcoming series.https://t.co/pW1IKzd35l#IMRULKAYES #IMRUL #KAYES #BANGLADESHCRICKET #BANGLADESH #CRICKET #BCBTIGERS #TIGERS #BCB #BANGLADESHCRICKETTEAM #TEAM— Dhaka Tribune Sports (@Sport_DT) October 26, 2018
Imrul could have added another feather to his cap in the series, had he scored 12 runs more.
If that had happened then he could have joined Pakistan’s Babar Azam as the record-holder of the most runs in a three-ODI series.
