Masters Cricket Carnival: Rajshahi on verge of grand finale
Air Asia Rajshahi Masters following three consecutive wins are on the verge of confirming a spot in the final of the Walton Masters Cricket Carnival 2018. Rajshahi led by former Bangladesh captain Khaled Mashud Pilot in their two games in Cox’s Bazar’s Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium Thursday won against Beximco Dhaka Masters and Raw Nation Khulna Masters. In the first match of the day, Rajshahi defeated Dhaka by four runs before registering an eight-wicket win against defending champion Khulna.

Meanwhile, Amber Chittagong Masters led by Akram Khan bagged a victory in their first game of the tournament. The side defeated Sylhet Sixers Masters by 43 runs. Batting first, Chittagong posted 146 before restricting the opposition to 103. Friday, Khulna will face Sylhet in the morning game while Rajshahi will take on Chittagong simultaneously. Dhaka will lock horn with Chittagong in the third game later in the day.
