Mashrafe had retired from T20Is in April 2017 after leaving captaincy duty. But after some brilliant performances in a T20 tournament like the BPL, questions have been raised as to whether Mashrafe has plan to return to T20Is. The Riders captain however, said he is not thinking about a comeback in T20Is. “Firstly, I am not thinking about comeback to T20Is. Secondly, I have no such obduracy. I never thought I don’t like T20s or something along that line. Whenever I play, I always try to give 100%. Otherwise it will give a wrong message to the younger players. And also, I don’t plan that far ahead as to what will happen next year or after that,” Mashrafe said during the post-match press conference at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka Tuesday. Most TWENTY20 tournament titles as a CAPTAIN:

Mashrafe confirmed he will continue to play the T20 leagues, provided he is fit and performing well. “Why should I not play T20s? To be honest I am also getting financial benefits by playing this tournament. I also have a family. I believe I have the ability to play in BPL as a player. So I will play in BPL or the Dhaka [Premier] League in the near future,” he said. “And besides that, I am playing only ODIs for Bangladesh. So for me match practice is very match important to become fit for ODIs. If I don’t get enough game time then it will be difficult for me to play ODIs. So I always try to play matches. You have seen that before going to South Africa to play three ODIs, I had played two four-day games. And I always tried to give my best on the field,” he concluded..@henrygayle shares a light moment with adorable Humaira, the daughter of Mashrafe Mortaza. pic.twitter.com/gmwWBByxuo
