BPL GC planning reserve days for playoffs and final, Comilla disagree

The BPL governing council is planning reserve days for the playoffs and the grand finale in the fifth edition of the money-spinning tournament. In that regard, the BPL GC sent letters to the four teams who have qualified for the playoffs – holder Dhaka Dynamites, table-topper Comilla Victorians, Khulna Titans and Rangpur Riders. With the exception of Comilla, all the other teams have agreed with the plan put forward by the BPL GC. It was learned that Comilla expressed opposition with the plan to have reserve days, even going as far as threatening legal action if the BPL GC decides to implement the plan. According to weather forecast, there might be rain in Dhaka in the next few days. The Eliminator and Qualifier 1 of BPL 2017 will be held Friday at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. The Qualifier 2 and final will take place at the home of cricket in Mirpur Sunday and Tuesday respectively.
