Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan joins the prestigious Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC)’s World Cricket Committee. MCC in a letter said, the club wishes to appoint Shakib as a member of the committee.
Shakib posted the invitation letter received from MCC authority on his official facebook page. ‘I truly feel humbled that you have chosen me to be a member of the Prestigious MCC World Cricket Committee. Thank you for bestowing me with such an honour’, he posted.
Eight of the ten full ICC Member nations have been represented on the committee, and there is a regular turnover of members in order to keep the World Cricket Committee supplied with fresh ideas and initiatives.
