Left-arm spinner Arafat Sunny maintained his good form with the ball and helped Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club to register their second win. Meanwhile Abahani Limited also bagged their second win of the tournament riding on Nazmul Hossain century. On day two of Round 2, Victoria SC will face Gazi Group at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium, Mohammedan SC will face Kalabagan KC at BKSP 4 and Prime Bank CC is set to lock horns against Khelaghar SKS at BKSP 3. But Mushfiqur and Naeem gelled in the middle to remain unbeaten till the 41st over and post 225 runs partnership in the third wicket. Mushfiq scored 134 runs in as many balls with fourteen boundaries and one six. Naeem scored 103 off 118 balls with seven fours and one six. Rupganj end their innings with 305 runs losing five wickets. Pacer Shahadat Hossain and veteran spinner Abdur Razzak shared four wickets amongst themselves for Sheikh Jamal. In reply, Sheikh Jamal could post only 237 runs before losing all wickets in 46.2 overs. Ziaur Rahman was the highest scorer with 42. Brothers Union were sent to bat first and scored 246 losing nine wickets. Opener Zunaid Siddique scored 87 while other opener Mizanur Rahman added 56 to the board off 80 deliveries. Arafat Sunny maintained his good form and picked four wickets against Brothers conceding 45 runs in 10 overs. Chasing the target, Imtiaz added 99 from the top in 143 deliveries with nine boundaries and two over boundaries. Young Brothers pacer Noor Alam Saddam denied Imtiaz to reach the century after getting the batsman out in the 47th over. Opener Abdul Majid scored 44 during the 87 runs opening partnership with Imtiaz for Prime Doleshwar. Saddam picked three wickets for Brothers’.
