Bangladesh limited-over captain Mashrafe bin Mortaza, middle-order batsman Mahmudullah, left-arm spinner Sanjamul Islam, all-rounders Shuvagata Hom, Saifuddin and Abul Hasan and wicket-keeper Nurul Hasan took part in the two-hour long training session.
Just a day ago, Bangladesh clinched their first ever Test match win against the Lankans, at P Sara Oval in Colombo. Among the members of the Test squad, spinners Mehedi Hasan Miraz and Taijul Islam, pace duo Subashish Roy and Kamrul Islam Rabbi and top-order batsman Mominul Haque returned home on Monday.
The remaining cricketers, who are also part of the ODI squad, spent a rest day, recovering from the efforts of their historic win in their 100th Test.
Meanwhile, it was learnt that player of the match in the second Test, Tamim Iqbal, took a day off and went to Mumbai to celebrate his 28th birthday with family.
The only practice match before the ODI series takes place on Wednesday at Colombo Cricket Club.
The first two ODIs will be played in Dambulla while the third will take place at Sinhalese Sports Club Ground.
