The 37-year old Australian will join the Bangladesh squad in Galle on Monday. Chandramohan is an experienced campaigner who has worked in the elite level with first-class cricketers in his capacity as the physio of Hampshire County Cricket Club in the UK and Melbourne Stars and Victoria Bushrangers in Australia.
Bangladesh manager Khaled Mahmud Sujon has confirmed that Chandramohan will join the team on Monday.
“He (Chandramohan) is on his way from Melbourne. He is about to land in a while and supposed to join the team at around 8 or 9pm [Monday]. He will start working with the team from [Tuesday]. As of now, he has been appointed for this tour,” said Sujon.
Meanwhile, the BCB has ended its contractual agreement with physio Dean Conway. Conway, who earlier joined the Bangladesh support staff in December, 2016, performed his duties in the preparation camp down under and in the recent tours of New Zealand and India.
