Good display by Bangladesh at School Chess

In the second round, Sadnan Hasan Dihan drew with Shresth Mahapatra of India, Noshin Anjum beat Siddjarth Sarma of India, Mortuza Mahathir defeated Mehul Gupta of India, Shafiqul Islam beat Madhav Patel of India, Mortuza Muhtadi Islam defeated Arushi Srichandan of India and Neer beat Yathaarth Poddar of India

Four Bangladesh players earned maximum two points after the second round games of the 27th edition of the Telegraph School Chess Championship in Kolkata, India. 

They are – Women’s Candidate Master Noshin Anjum, Mortuza Mahathir Islam, Mohammad Shafiqul Islam and Mortuza Muhtadi Islam. 

Sadnan Hasan Dihan and CM Manon Reja Neer earned 1.5 points each. 

In the second round, Dihan drew with Shresth Mahapatra of India, Noshin beat Siddjarth Sarma of India, Mahathir defeated Mehul Gupta of India, Shafiq beat Madhav Patel of India, Muhtadi defeated Arushi Srichandan of India and Neer beat Yathaarth Poddar of India.
