Razib off to winning start in Fide Rating Chess

A total of 145 players, including one GM and as many IM from India and Bangladesh are participating in the nine-day event that is being held in accordance with the nine-round Swiss-League system

A total of 69 players, including Grandmaster Enamul Hossain Rajib, were off to winning start in the Walton International Fide Rating Chess Tournament 2018 that inaugurated at the chess federation hall-room of the old NSC building in Dhaka Saturday.  

Along with Rajib, International Master Mohammad Minhaz Uddin, Fide Masters Sheikh Nasir Ahmed, Khairul Aminul Islam, Mohammad Fahad Rahman, Mehdi Hasan Parag, Syed Mahfuzur Rahman, Sharif Hossain and Mohammad Javed also won their opening-round matches.
