The defeat saw seven-time NCL winners Khulna get demoted to Tier 2 after just one win in six matches this season.
Batting all-rounder Taibur showed his effectiveness with the ball picking up five wickets giving away just 40 runs in the game, and surpassing his previous best, four wickets for 31 runs, in the format.
All-rounder Shuvagato Hom however, finished as the player of the match.
The off-spinner registered his career best in the first innings with seven wickets conceding 48 runs and bagging three more wickets in the second innings.
