Bangladesh A team, involving mainly red-ball cricketers and those not part of the T20I series against New Zealand, and a BCB High Performance team are set to undergo camp and play three one-day matches and two four-day games.

Bangladesh Cricket Board Saturday named a 21-member High Performance team who are set to start camp in Chittagong from Tuesday.

The national cricketers who will be part of the 18-member A team will initially train in Dhaka.

The A team squad will be announced following declaration of Bangladesh team for the five T20Is against the Kiwis.

The camp will be held in a bio-secure environment.

“We will have two teams travelling to Chittagong, A team and HP team. A team will involve mostly the Test cricketers. They will play a series against the HP Unit – three one-dayers and two four-dayers. Hopefully the weather and condition will not hamper the games,” said BCB chief of the national selection panel Minhajul Abedin to the media Saturday.

The two four-dayers will be played from September 9 to 12 and September 15 to 18 respectively.
