It is understood that the team management made an internal announcement of a 17-member squad for the first Test, scheduled to start from Wednesday at Pallakele International Cricket Stadium.
The 17 cricketers, except for wicketkeeper-batsman Nurul Hasan, off-spinner Shuvagata Hom, pacers Mukidul Islam and Khaled Ahmed, have been asked to be mentally prepared for the game.
A final call on the squad, which is likely to involve 16 players, will be made Tuesday.
