With due respect I, Shakib al Hasan, would like to state that we are scheduled to play T20 World Cup in India on the month of October 2021. This is a very important tournament for us. I believe taking part in the upcoming IPL will give me the best opportunity to prepare for this prestigious tournament. I understand that Bcb is planning to organise a tour in Sri Lanka at the same time when the IPL will take place.
In this circumstance, I would request you to allow me to participate in upcoming IPL and give me the best opportunity to prepare for the T20 World Cup.
