Bashundhara Kings took a giant step towards securing the third edition of the Tricotex Women’s Football League after beating nearest challenger Nasrin Football Academy 2-0 in Kamalapur Friday.

Nasrin FA battled gamely throughout the campaign against runaway Kings, who have past everyone along their way, scoring a total of 77 goals, and conceding just one, in nine matches.
Thanks to their goal difference, one more draw in their next game against Kumilla United Tuesday at the same venue will be enough to crown the Kings, with Nasrin’s goal difference paling in comparison – scored 36 and conceded 13.
