Robiul bags silver, Baki bronze at Singapore Online Shooting

Bangladesh shooter Robiul Islam outshone his compatriot Abdullah Hel Baki as the former bagged silver medal compared to the latter’s bronze in the Singapore Open Online Shooting Championship 10m Air Rifle Friday.

Robiul scores 247.7 points, ahead of Baki (226.9), while Rabbi Hasan (204.9) and Risalatul Islam (162.3) finished fourth and fifth respectively.

Shakil Ahmed meanwhile, disappointed in the 10m air pistol event as he ended fourth with 197.9 points after qualifying for the final round.

A total of 10 Bangladeshi shooters took part in three events out of the overall four.

There were also participants from host Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Egypt, Australia and South Korea.
