Through a media release on Sunday, BCB announced Jahanara as a member of team Velocity while Salma is set to be part of team Trailblazers
Bangladesh national women’s team cricketers -pacer Jahanara Alam and all-rounder Salma Khatun- are set to take part in this year’s Women’s T20 Challenge in UAE.
The short tournament is considered as women’s event of the Indian Premier League T20 organised by the Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI).
Through a media release on Sunday, BCB announced Jahanara as a member of team Velocity while Salma is set to be part of team Trailblazers. The three-team tournament will begin on November 4. Team Supernovas will take on Velocity on the opening day of the tournament.
The stint will be second for Jahanara having played the tournament in the previous season but for Bangladesh skipper Salma the call is maiden.
The three-team tournament, which will be held as a single-league basis, ends on 9 November.
