Ruman Shana along with seven other archers and German coach Frederick Martin all tested Covid-19 negative and are set to restart national archery practice camp at Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium in Tongi Wednesday after around five months.
The seven other archers, all from recurve men’s section, are Tamimul Islam, Hakim Ahmed, Sakib Molla, Imdadul Haq Milon, Ram Krishna Saha, Pradipta Chakma and Abdur Rahman Alif.
Assistant coach Ziaul Haque and coaching assistant Mohammad Hasan also tested negative along with four staffs after their samples were collected from the camp by Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital Monday.
Practice will be held in two sessions, morning and afternoon, from Wednesday with eight archers.
The other archers are restricted from entering the camp during the corona times.
Four recurve female archers including wonderkid Ity Khatun, Beauty Roy, Mani Rani Sarkar and Dia Siddique are scheduled to join the camp through similar procedure Saturday.
In the third and final phase, six compound archers are set to join on August 29.
