Ace all-rounder Shakib al Hasan's foundation has announced aid of Tk20 lakhs for the purchase of medical equipments and supplies in the fight against the novel coronavirus.
Shakib gave the announcement through his verified facebook page where he mentioned that Confidence Group has teamed up with him for the charitable cause.
"I am extremely proud to announce that Confidence Group has teamed up with SAH Foundation to match funds totalling BDT 20 Lacs and purchase authentic testing kits to be supplied to recognized hospitals and medical institutions,” said the post.
“I look forward to collaborating with Confidence Group even more to make a difference in everyone's lives."
A total of 61 people have been affected with the Covid-19 so far in Bangladesh and six of them have died.
