Former Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar will arrive in Dhaka Wednesday as a special guest of the Bangabandhu Gold Cup International Football, confirmed Bangladesh Football Federation president Kazi Salahuddin to the media Friday at BFF House.
Regarding the visit of the 40-year old, Salahuddin said, “We want to add a different dimension to the Bangabandhu Gold Cup. Keeping that in mind, we are bringing Cesar. He will set foot here Wednesday from Lisbon. He will also take part in different activities the following day.”
Cesar, who featured for the Selecao in three World Cups, will be a guest at the training session of the BFF Academy and the Bangladesh women’s team Thursday at Fortis Ground.
The 87-cap ex-Brazil netminder will also advice the goalkeepers during the practice session.
The former Inter Milan custodian will then pay his respects to the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, at Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in Dhanmondi Road No. 32.
