Mohammad Ruman Shana bagged the bronze medal after beating Rakib Mia 7-1 in the third-place decider
Mohammad Ruman Shana conceded a surprising 6-2 defeat against Mohammad Sakib Molla in the recurve men’s individual semifinal in the Teer 11th National Archery Championship at Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium in Tongi Wednesday.
Sakib, representing Teerandaj Sangsad, however, couldn’t carry his good form in the final where he lost to Ramkrishna Saha of Air Force by 7-1 points.

Among the four individual gold-medalist archers of the 13th South Asian Games, only Suma Biswas managed to clinch gold after beating Sushmita Banik by 140-138 points in the final of the compound women’s individual event.
In the other individual finals, Teerandaj archer Beauty Roy defeated Mehnaz Akter Monira 6-0 in the final to win the recurve women’s title, while her teammate Siam Siddik won gold in the compound men’s event beating BKSP’s Himu Bachar 144-140.
