Experienced athlete Al Amin bagged a bronze in the men’s long-jump event, which was Bangladesh’s only medal in the second day of athletics at the 13th South Asian Games Wednesday.

The 30-year old, who won bronze in 2010 and fourth-place in 2016, jumped 7.6m, while Lokesh Sathyana and Swaminathan Rav notched gold and silver with 7.87m and 7.77m respectively.

Archana Suseent of India bagged gold with 23.66s.

Saiful Ismail Khan however, improved his timing in the men’s 200m sprint taking 21.70s to finish seventh.

His summer timing 21.82s was enough to win him a gold.
