With 614 points, Mushfiqur Rahim is now the best placed Tigers batsmen, ahead of Tamim Iqbal (613) at 27th

Bangladesh batsman Mushfiqur Rahim rose four places to 26th position in the latest Test batsmen’s ranking following their second and final Test match against India at Eden Gardens in Kolkata earlier this week.

With 614 points, Mushfiq is now the best placed Tigers batsmen, ahead of Tamim Iqbal (613) at 27th.

The Tigers are ninth in the Test teams’ ranking with a rating of 61, six ahead of 10th placed Afghanistan, although the teams’ ranking was last updated Friday when the Kolkata Test got underway.

Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam, who bagged only one wicket in the Kolkata Test, continues to be the best represented Bangladeshi bowler in the Test ranking at 23rd with 595 points.
