The champion would be awarded Tk1 lakh and get the chance to train in the UK
For the first time in Bangladesh, AIM Sports has brought one of the biggest amateur football league operators from the United Kingdom, Soccer League UK, and formed “Soccer League BD”, the flagship concern of AIM Sports, with the aim of reinvigorating the passion for football throughout the country.
As part of this grand endeavor, AIM Sports in partnership with ATN Events, are organizing the first ever “Bangabandhu Amateur Futsal Cup”, presented by Walton, this month.
The champion would be awarded Tk1 lakh and get the chance to train in the UK.
The qualifiers of the tournament started Thursday at 7pm at National Handball Stadium as eight teams participated in the first day.
The remaining qualifiers and the round of 16 would be played Friday and Saturday at the same venue.
The finals and prize giving ceremony would take place next Friday.
The State Minister for Youth and Sports, Jahid Ahsan Russel would be present as the chief guest during the finals.
