Bangladesh camp received another injury setback, after young batsman Saif Hasan, when off-spinner Nayeem Hasan was struck on the head by a cricket ball during training at Eden Gardens Wednesday.
Ahead of their second and final Test match against India starting Friday, the Tigers suffered a hiccup as Saif was ruled out with a finger injury and this was compounded by Nayeem receiving a blow to the head.
Nayeem was taken to Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital Limited in Kolkata where he underwent a CT scan.

The hospital’s doctor, Saptarshee Basu said, “It is not severe, even though there is a bit of pain, everything seems normal.”
Even though he gave the green signal to the 18-year old to play the Kolkata Test, doubts over his participation remain.
Nayeem, who has played three Tests so far since his debut against the West Indies in November last year, sat out the Indore Test.
