The men’s champion will be awarded Tk1 lakh and a chance to train in the UK
The inaugural Bangabandhu Amateur Futsal Cup, presented by Walton, will be held from November 21-29.
AIM Sports in partnership with ATN Events are organizing the tournament, said a press release.
Dr Mahfuzur Rahman, chairman of ATN Bangla, formally inaugurated the tournament in a grand launching event held at a hotel in Dhaka Monday.
Team registration for the tournament will go on until Monday, followed by the qualifying round from November 21-23.
The top 16 teams from the qualifiers will play in the Finals on November 29.
Both men and women will take part in the tournament, with no professional players and none younger than 15 years will be allowed to play for the teams.
