The Embassy Cup Football trophy was unveiled in Dhaka Thursday

This is the second edition of the tournament with South Korea and Palestine finishing as the champion and runners-up respectively in the inaugural edition

The Embassy Cup Football will get underway Friday at the Armed Police Battalion field in Uttara’s sector two with the participation of 16 embassy teams.

This is the second edition of the tournament with South Korea and Palestine finishing as the champion and runners-up respectively in the inaugural edition.

Along with the two, Australia, Bhutan, Iraq, Maldives, Norway, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Vietnam and America will take part in the tournament.

The two-day long tournament will be inaugurated by Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal while Shahriar Alam, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs will be present during the concluding day.
