The first-class cricketers will now turn their attention to the third round, which was initially scheduled to get underway Thursday

The premier first-class cricket competition of the country, the National Cricket League will resume Saturday with the third round of matches across different venues after the impasse between the revolting cricketers and the Bangladesh Cricket Board ended Wednesday night.

The ongoing 21st edition of the NCL was put on hold after the protesting cricketers placed a 11-point demand Monday where they mentioned that they’d refrain from all activities if their demands were not met by the BCB.

Around 50 renowned cricketers of the country added two more demands Wednesday, making it a 13-point list, before their meeting with cricket’s governing body in the country saw an end to their strike.

The first-class cricketers will now turn their attention to the third round, which was initially scheduled to get underway Thursday.

Dhaka will take on Khulna while Rajshahi will lock horns with Rangpur in Cox’s Bazar in the tier one matches while Barisal will face Dhaka Metropolis in Bogra and Chittagong will face off against Sylhet in Rajshahi in the tier two games.
