Nurul Hasan was adjudged player of the match for his innings on a not so supportive pitch
Khulna earned a comfortable victory against Rajshahi in the fourth and final day of the second round matches of the National Cricket League's 21st edition Sunday.
Chasing an easy target of 123, Khulna resumed the last day on 15/1.
Opener Soumya Sarkar scored 50 and remained not out to make sure his side recorded a docile seven-wicket win at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.

Khulna’s stumper-batter Nurul Hasan made a brave 97 to help his side gain an important lead in the first innings before Abdur Razzak and Al-Amin Hossain bowled brilliantly to wrap Rajshahi’s second innings for 170 to give their batsmen a target of 123https://t.co/KbKssQDg0z#NCL— Dhaka Tribune Sports (@Sport_DT) October 19, 2019
Imrul Kayes and Mohammad Mithun missed chances of scoring substantial runs as they got out cheaply for 22 and 27, respectively, but that did not change the outcome of the game.
Asked to bat first, Rajshahi managed to score 261 and in reply, Khulna made 309 thanks to a fine 97-run knock by Nurul Hasan.
Rajshahi were bundled out for just 170 in their second innings with Al-Amin Hossain and Abdur Razzak grabbing four wickets each for the host.
