Bangladesh team, comprising Mohammad Ruman Shana, Tamimul Islam and Hakim Ahmed Rubel earlier qualified for the last four after defeating Thailand 5-3 in the quarter-final

Bangladesh archers progressed to the final of the men’s team event at the Asia Cup World Ranking Competition Stage 3 Thursday after beating Malaysia by 5-3 set points in the semi-final.

Bangladesh team, comprising Mohammad Ruman Shana, Tamimul Islam and Hakim Ahmed Rubel earlier qualified for the last four after defeating Thailand 5-3 in the quarter-final.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh recurve mixed team of Ruman and Beauty Roy tasted defeat in the semi-final as they lost 6-0.

The recurve mixed team, who earlier beat Thailand 5-1 in the quarter-final, will contest the third place decider Friday against Chinese Taipei.
