BCB XI trail Dr. DY Patil Cricket Academy by 299 runs heading into the fourth and final day’s play Friday in the Dr. (Capt.) K. Thimmappiah Memorial Tournament at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

DYPCA ended the third and penultimate day’s proceedings posting 274 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 68 overs in their second innings.

Seamer Taskin Ahmed led the way for BCB XI with four wickets conceding 69 runs.

Earlier, resuming on their overnight first innings score of 261/5 in 73 overs, the visiting side added 45 for the loss of their remaining five wickets 15 overs.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Nurul Hasan scored the highest 87 off 118 deliveries for BCB XI.

The DYPCA had scored 331 in their first innings in 102.5 overs.
