Bangladesh cricketers Anamul Haque, Mohammad Mithun, Sabbir Rahman and Rubel Hossain, who were included in the national squad for the Sri Lanka ODIs later this month, have been included in the Bangladesh A side for the first one-dayer against Afghanistan A.
The second string sides of Bangladesh and Afghanistan will take on each other in the first of five one-dayers Friday in Chittagong’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
It is being said the quartet were named in the Bangladesh A side for some match preparation, heading into the tour of Sri Lanka.

Although Mithun, Sabbir and Rubel were part of the World Cup squad, they got to play very few matches, while Anamul was not even in the squad.
The second and third one-dayers will also be played in the port city Sunday and Wednesday, while the remaining two matches will be held at BKSP in Savar on July 27 and 29 respectively.
