The tri-nation youth ODI series involves India U-19 and host England U-19
Bangladesh U-19 team are all set to depart for England Monday to participate in a tri-nation youth ODI series. The series also involves India U-19 and host England U-19.
The BCB Saturday announced a 15-member squad with wicketkeeper-batsman Akbar Ali as the captain. The series is part of preparation for the young Bangladesh cricketers for the U-19 World Cup 2020, set to take place in South Africa from January.
Bangladesh U-19 will begin the tour with a 50-over warm-up game against Young Lions Invitational XI at the ECB Performance Center in Loughborough Thursday. The series is formatted for a side to play each opponent four times.
The top two teams after finishing the league stage will play the final on August 11 at Hove in Sussex. Bangladesh U-19 will start the series taking on host England U-19 at New Road in Worcester on July 22.
