Pakistan's Imam-ul-Haq plays a shot during their World Cup match against Bangladesh in London Friday Dhaka Tribune/Md Manik from London

Interestingly, Imam-ul-Haq reached his century in the third ball of the over and just a ball later, he lost his wicket in an unusual way - hit wicket against pacer Mustafizur Rahman

After winning the toss, Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed opted to bat first and they made a confident start at Lord’s against Bangladesh.

Although they lost Fakhar Zaman early on, the other opener Imam-ul-Haq and No 3 batsman Babar Azam formed a solid 157-run partnership for the second wicket.

Imam played an impressive innings and picked up his seventh ODI hundred during the 42nd over of the innings.

Interestingly, he reached his century in the third ball of the over and just a ball later, he lost his wicket in an unusual way - hit wicket against pacer Mustafizur Rahman.

Imam flicked the delivery towards deep square leg and while playing the shot, his back foot touched the stumps and the bails were dislodged.

The two batsmen completed the run but since the bails were dislodged, the umpires checked it and TV replay showed Imam was out.
