A three-member Bangladesh team will leave here for Berlin, Germany Sunday morning to take part in the week-long Archery World Cup, Stage 4, starting Monday.

Bangladesh team comprise recurve archers Mohammad Ruman Shana and Beauty Ray and coach Martin Frederick.

Ruman and Beauty will take part in the recurve men’s and women’s singles and the mixed team event.

Ruman, Beauty and Frederick will be joined by Tanvir Ahmed, who will perform his duties as a judge in the competition.

Meanwhile, Frederick’s father, Iberhard Frederick breathed his last Friday.

He was 87.

He left behind his wife, three sons, grandson, granddaughter and countless well-wishers.

Bangladesh Archery Federation officials, players, sponsors, judges and coaches, among others, expressed deep sadness and prayed for the salvation of his departed soul.
