Dilkusha edged Dhaka United 4-3 in their last match to finish at the top of the standing

Dilkusha Sporting Club emerged as the champion in the First Division Hockey League at Maulana Bhasani National Stadium in Dhaka Saturday.

In the process, Dilkusha got promoted to the Premier Division Hockey League.

Hridoy Sheikh, Pabon Malik, Milon Hossain and Jahidul Islam Rajon scored for Dilkusha, while Arafat Hossain Piyal, Imran Ahmed Sohel and Sajjad Hossain Sifat netted for Dhaka United.

In the other match of the day at the same venue, Shantinagar SC thrashed Barnak Samaj 5-1.

Akash scored a hat-trick for Shantinagar, while Hridoy and Limon netted one each.

Abdullah al Nayan bagged the consolation for Barnak Samaj.

Bangladesh Hockey Federation president Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat and general secretary Abdus Sadek were present among others Saturday.
