Rajshahi Kings lend helping hand to coach Amiruzzaman

A cheque of Tk0.2m has been handed over to Amiruzzaman Babu's relative Saturday before the start of Rajshahi Kings' match against Chittagong Vikings at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong

Ex-cricketer and coach Amiruzzaman Babu has been suffering from life threatening kidney related disease for some days. 

The news has been published in many national medias, hence Rajshahi Kings management, players and officials have come to know about it. 

They all have unanimously decided to extend their helping hand for him. 

In this regard, a cheque of Tk0.2m has been handed over to Amiruzzaman's relative Saturday before the start of Rajshahi’s match against Chittagong Vikings at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.

Kings’ COO Shamsur Rahman and Amiruzzaman's family friend Shafikul Islam were present at that time. 

Kings’ CEO Tahmeed Azizul Huq said, “Bangladesh cricket has come a long way in recent times. A lot of people have contributed immensely in the process. Amizurzzaman was one of the coaches who inspired numerous youngsters to become a cricketer. Rajshahi Kings family have decided to help him in his critical time. The decision has been taken in a very short notice. We hope that, everyone involving in the cricket fraternity will come forward in this regard and help him to return to the field.''
