Hornets Sporting Club emerged as the unbeaten champion in the Unimed Unihealth Pharmaceuticals Premier Division Basketball League, organised by Bangladesh Basketball Federation, after beating Rangers Club by 63-50 points Wednesday at Wooden Floor Basketball Gymnasium in Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
The winning side led 33-22 in the first half.
Hornets’ Jamil and Raim caged 25 and 13 points respectively while Rangers’ Bappy and Mehedi scored 19 and 13 points accordingly.
Hornets received Tk30,000 as prize money while Rangers got Tk20,000.
