The duo scored a total of 814.9 points with the 16-year old Arnab Sharar Ladif and the 20-year old Sayeda Atkia Hasan scoring 409.9 and 405 respectively

Young shooter Arnab Sharar and Sayeda Atkia Hasan made a decent debut despite elimination in the Asian Games as the Bangladesh mixed rifle team comprising the duo finished 13th out of 22 countries in the 10m air-rifle mixed team event at the JSC shooting range in Palembang Sunday. 

The duo scored a total of 814.9 points with the 16-year old Arnab and the 20-year old Atkia scoring 409.9 and 405 respectively.

South Korea finished top with 836.7 while India, Mongolia, China and Chinese Taipei were also among the qualifiers for the final round.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh pistol mixed team comprising Ardina Ferdous and Noor Hasan Alif also got eliminated as they were placed 19th out of 21 in the 10m air pistol mixed team event with a score of 734.

Earlier, in men's wrestling, Fakiri Abdul Haia of Afghanistan beat Sarat Chandra Roy of Bangladesh by 10-0 points in the 86kg category Sunday while Hissenikhsni Mostafa of Iran beat Amjad Ali of Bangladesh in the men's 74kg category by 10-0 points.
