The 28-year-old model was crowned the winner of Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020
Tangia Zaman Methila's debut Bollywood film "Rohingya" is set to premiere on the OTT platform Apple TV on November 15, 2021.
The 28-year-old model was crowned the winner of Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020. She triumphed over nine other finalists and clinched the title in a national final held in April.
In the poster for "Rohingya," Methila is seen posing as a mysterious woman with fiery eyes, holding a gun.
"I am playing a girl named Husna Araa. To play my role, I have had to learn to speak the Rohingya language. I believe our film is going to be absolutely different from most mainstream Bollywood movies," Methila told the press.
She is acting alongside the former 'Mr Bhutan' and bodybuilder Sangay Tsheltrim. The cast also includes Samar Batra, Shreyansh Misra, Dorji Wangchuk, Gautam Gosain, Ali Johar, and many more.
Haider Khan, who was the promo director of Dabangg 3, is directing this film. He is also an acclaimed photographer currently working in Bollywood.
Produced by The Lion Productions, the film will debut on Apple TV next month.
