Kishwar, who started her journey as a nervous home cook, says she found herself in MasterChef’s kitchen
The three-month-long cooking competition MasterChef Australia reached the finish line today, on July 13. The 38-year old Bangladeshi from Melbourne, Kishwar Chowdhury was declared the second runner-up of 2021.
Kishwar started her journey as a nervous home cook, who felt guilty after joining MasterChef because she could not spend more time with her two children.
Having performed her duties as a brilliant business woman, a loving mother and a doting wife, it was finally her chance to do something for herself and amaze the world with her unique culinary skills. And presented with the opportunity, Kishwar leaped at it and reached the apex of success.
She sailed through weeks of culinary challenges, nerve-wrecking tasks, enormous pressure of honouring her Bangladeshi heritage; and ended up winning everyone's heart, both at home and abroad.
She can now finally fulfill her dream of writing a cook book and keeping her family’s legacy alive.
