Director John Krasinski’s “A Quiet Place Part II” finally hit the theatres on May 28, after many months of anticipation.
As of today, the film is garnering positive reviews from critics and drawing audiences in droves to the theatre, with industry insiders expressing optimism about reviving the box office.
The film’s premise centres on a family who has to survive in a post-apocalyptic world by remaining silent since the slightest noise can bring out the flesh-eating aliens.
William Friedkin, the director of arguably the most influential horror films of all time, “The Exorcist,” also emerged as a fan of John Krasinski and Emily Blunt’s horror sequel.
