'A New Testament of Romeo & Juliet' to be staged

'A New Testament of Romeo & Juliet' will be staged on January 1, 2021, at 7pm at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. Written by Simon Zakaria and directed by Noor Zaman Raza, this is the first production of the troupe Empty Space. The story revolves around a drunken poet, who sings at a graveyard on a full moon night. Romeo and Juliet and Shakespeare join him in the course of the play.
